Sun City ca Wedding

Sun City is a census-designated place (CDP) in Riverside County, California, United States. The population was 17,773 at the 2000 census.

Recently, there has been an effort to incorporate Sun City and some or all of the nearby areas of Menifee and Romoland as Menifee Valley. Riverside County is currently investigating the viability of the proposed new city.

Menifee Valley Medical Center is a General Acute Care Hospital in Sun City with Basic Emergency Services as of 2005. [1]

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 20.2 km (7.8 mi), all land.

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 17,773 people, 8,750 households, and 5,197 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 879.8/km (2,280.0/mi). There were 9,440 housing units at an average density of 467.3/km (1,211.0/mi). The racial makeup of the CDP was 89.63% White, 2.13% African American, 0.51% Native American, 1.19% Asian, 0.15% Pacific Islander, 4.11% from other races, and 2.29% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 12.31% of the population.
